my heartfelt thanks for this. I had not realised how many of my accumulated PDFs no longer displayed adequately in epdfview (in general, grey boxes instead of images). That's what comes from concentrating on all-text PDFs. I knew that the "better" versions of my asy-test PDFs did not display in epdfview, but this has fixed those too. I assume that a change in poppler in recent months was the cause. The -fixes-1 patch already included a couple of things which were candidates for sed, because a patch was definitely needed for the rest. So, I've added this in and rediffed : mixing sed and patch when it can all be done in a patch seems silly to me. ĸen -- Nanny Ogg usually went to bed early. After all, she was an old lady.
