For some reason, the "Reply" button sent the answer only to Fernando, while
usually, it goes to the list...
So, I resend it to the list. Sorry Fernando, if you have it twice.
(true answer at the end).

Please do not be upset: you are right, I should have been more explicit. But,
what I wanted to tell is that the whole set of libmysqlclient_r libraries,
_including_ libmysqlclient_r.so.18.0.0 are symlinks to libmysqlclient.so, and
libmysqlclient_r.a is also a symlink to libmysqlclient.a.

So, for me, this libmysqlclient_r series look like compatibility symlinks, not
libraries.

Would you agree with this comment
<!-- there is no libmysqlclient_r.so.xxx shared library, nor
libmysqlclient_r.a static lib, only compatibility symlinks to the
corresponding "non _r" libraries -->

OTOH, I do not have strong feeling about that. Another solution could be to
put them back, and write that they are symlinks to the corresponding non _r
versions.

Please tell me.

Pierre
