Opened BibDesk; MEM = 20.4 MB, CPU = 0.0%. Opening refs.bib (67 kb) from ~/Desktop via File → Open… MEM = 1.04 GB (and rising!), CPU = 99.9% Also has it’s in red with (Not Responding) behind the name.
If I wait a super long time, the file will open but the lag in trying to do anything is horrible. So, basically, I can’t do any work with it. Running macOS Catalina (10.15.7), 2.6 GHz 6-core I7 with 32 GB RAM. [After about 1 minute, and file still not opened, MEM = 8.07 GB and rising.] -- Dr. David R.
