Hi, all,

The attached .tgz file contains a .bib, .tex, and a couple of log files.

The .bib file (two items) is a MWE for a problem that was driving me bats. My
usual .bib file contains some 1100 entries, and the two in the enclosed were
far apart in the latter, so it took a while (using divide/conquer and
combine/conquer) to figure it out.

The problem is that when I selected a bunch of items in the pubs (main) BibDesk
window, I would consistently get a failure indication. The .bbl log ended with
an indication of 1 error, but there are no errors in the log, so I was stumped.

Once I got down to the MWE, it appears that I have screwed up the “crossref”
usage here, although (a) there's no error, only a warning; and (b) I can’t
really interpret the warning (or other information) in the logs.

Also, I should mention that it’s not clear to me whether this is an issue with
BibDesk, my use of bibtex, or something completely different. I use TeXShop
for my TeX work, if that matters.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Thanks!

Justin

PS: the string “PSPM-20}” in Untitled.bbl bothers me, but I’m not sure what to
make of it. Maybe I’m myopic...
