Possibly a good option - if I didn't trust Oracle even less than IBM. I
wonder if ElRepo will work that the Oracle distro? RH has removed a lot
of hardware support lately and for some older machines ElRepo drivers
are needed to even install.
That link has a script for converting from CentOS 6 or 7 to Oracle's
version. But not 8, which is ironic in this context.
Is there a CentOS forums equivalent for this distro somewhere in "Oracle
Communities" or elsewhere?
