I find this an interesting observation (I am a long time lurker on the list) as
I have recently found Zenodo working really rather well though I *am* in the
set of people uploading things to do with COVID-19

The REST API is pretty good though uploading very large files works best with
the streaming API which is not 100% documented

I would encourage people who are having trouble with the service to drop them a
line on gitter

 https://gitter.im/zenodo/zenodo

My experience is that they are pretty responsive

Cheers Graeme

Hello Beowulf,
Zenodo does not work very well, perhaps it is overwhelmed with people studying
corona virus. It simply does not accept any upload.
However, if you have a GitHub account you can follow simple steps: activate a
repository from Zenodo, sync your accounts, and the publish a release.
It was very easy that way.
