Oops - my bad. I was reading the Phoronix articles and assumed the full
OpenACC was implemented in 9.1. Only the back-end is implemented:

" Initial AMD GCN back-end has been merged for targeting Radeon Fiji/Vega
GPUs although the actual OpenMP/OpenACC offloading and other functionality

single-threaded, standalone programs which obviously isn't of much use for
GPUs."
