The documents released by ORNL lists OpenMP-5 as the provided alternative (path forward) for OpenACC applications. In a similar way it notes HIP as the replacement for CUDA. Personally I think that it's a case of maintained supported programming models but change of specific technologies. Except for apps on frameworks such as Kokkos and Raja which I suspect will work without porting (performance porting probably needed though).
