Jorg, this is probably veering very off topic. Intel make available the source code for those BMC cards - which surprised me. I saw Redfish mentioned https://www.supermicro.com/solutions/Redfish.cfm Maybe the Redfish standard makes the cards behave differently to old-style BMC cards
