My preference, as well, is to maintain the mailing list. Somehow, I
didn't see a problem with the mail described by Don.
FURTHER (sorry for shouting, but I wanted your attention), I want to
commend Don on the effort it takes to keep moderating a list like this,
with an excellent SNR and a strong positive indication of expert posts.
I'd also like to take time to comment the folks who successfully
colned RGB so he could post as much -- and as well -- as he does.

I regularly download my IMAP mail for offline reading, and catch up on
it whilst travelling. For instance, today I was reading the list emails
on a train to a client site.

gateway, so you could read it as a newsgroup.
Web based forums are good for many purposes, but not for this list,
please.
