Way too old..  That doesn't support u-boot overlays..

Your version of u-boot loading is too old, it's probally the one
stored on the eMMC, just clear it out via, which will erase your
eMMC...

sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/mmcblk1 bs=1M count=10

and yes, you will dd/etcher.io/etc them to a microSD, so your microSD
will be erased..
