I often need to create a new text file and save it to a
directory deep down within ~/Library. Is there a way I can
automate either the save to that folder, OR the navigation to
that folder during a save (short of putting that folder in
Finder Favorites)?
While the Save panel is up, type "/", "~", or press
Command-Shift-G and you'll get a panel where you can enter a path.
