I miss the days when you could pull it from the Menu, actually,

There is a 'Mark' verb in the Applescript dictionary, but I can't

Where is that proper Python interface to the BBEdit runtime?
Heck, I would learn Ruby if that's what it took to get a scripting
interface that is more pleasant than what's currently there. Can
someone inform Apple that there are novice friendly programming
languages out there that are actually usable?

I tried recording, but that didn't work, despite the fact that BBEdit
is probably the last program out there that supports it.
