Yes, the test environment is using a consistent version set: bextract 
25.0.3 and bareos-sd 25.0.3.

Additionally, the reason I tested different versions of bextract was to 
investigate the issue observed specifically in version 25.0.3 and to 
identify its root cause.

I apologize if the mixed-version testing caused any confusion in my 
previous explanation. However, I would like to clarify that comparing 
multiple versions was not the cause of the issue.

Regarding your comment:

Based on this, I suspect that the Bareos-sd backend may have changed after 
the version upgrade, and that Bextract might no longer be compatible with 
it.
The volume files itself are definitely compatible, but the ABI/API of the 
libraries may have changed.

I believe this is a valuable insight.

Currently, we are still using version 24.0.7 in our production environment. 
However, we are reviewing possible solutions in advance in case the same 
issue occurs after upgrading to a newer version.

I would appreciate any guidance or recommendations you may have regarding 
how to address this issue during or after the upgrade.
