I'm not sure to understand at 100% your problem. especially the description of of the version used.
To make it clear: bareos-tools have to have the same version of the sd both depending on the bareos-common libs. I've just tested here with master and it work, also don't forget to run the tool as bareos user and not root So calling the tool with su bareos -c "/usr/sbin/bextract -d200 -v -i /tmp/include.list -V volume_name archive_device_path /var/tmp/extract" Work smoothly. Please verify that you upgrade all component to the same version.
