Than you should rather use copy jobs instead of virtuall full. Cause the virtuall full is "synthetic fullbackup" and the last fullback is always the reference for a restore if you not use the exact jobid. You already have fullbackup on this so copy it to tape thats easier to handle. as long as there are the original full backups on disk it will not reference to the copies on tape during a restore. So actually i do not see the advantage of virtuall full in your setup cause a copy doesnt effect the fd as well. Or is there something i miss? Because the tapes are offsite this is inconvenient and we therefore looking for a restore limited to the disk Pool. > > Regards > > Andreas > > - -- Daniel Neuberger [email protected] dass IT GmbH Phone: +49.221.3565666-95 http://www.dass-IT.de/ Fax : +49.221.3565666-10 Sitz der Gesellschaft: Köln | Amtsgericht Köln: HRB52500 GF: Stephan Dühr, Maik Außendorf, Jörg Steffens, Philipp Storz -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.19 (GNU/Linux) iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJUNUlyAAoJEM5obxFOj3qNEksIAKozC1xPNHxlnLjRYi345MLz 6aS7Vg48ytI+xevp+o26oskEeT+n9TPrlVT/9tlmRv6cmH3svezgc6qhEvTANrtv IBqAbKksA5wHNaDfLTuxxx7qzKV3WB/UhisNhs1LNfYic1+vBZGGGzeRN4DfXaBl xpEVxnc1ryHVgBdbja+iVo/Cek1HnnJ/xyaWKr0IGYhyvTkWHq98JvWENFKhLLYV EkpfY+B5PYHslkLI4FMZDG4ZNEsUI6RYlVVvW+Ha0yNvUC9QeXygVOZvfpxkIz10 KUfAYMMwkvmkD74qfTbOWwEFEKJABKekbSx4R4OIRbVaKuVIKykQKPupeE60BvY= =+2CX -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "bareos-users" group.
