Hello again,
I set heartbeat to 300 in Windows client config:
FileDaemon { # this is me
Name = dc01-fd
Heartbeat Interval = 300
Maximum Network Buffer Size = 32768
}
In linux bacula director server, bacula-dir.conf;
Director {
Heartbeat Interval = 300
}
And in storage daemon server, bacula-sd.conf:
Storage {
Heartbeat Interval = 300
}
Is this correct way of doing this?
Tervitades / Best regards,

OK. Then in my text, please change the word "switch" to "network" and if that
does not help: sorry I have no other ideas.
Best regards,
Kern

Hello,
I don’t think that it is switch issue. The Server 2008 is virtual machine and
bacula is also backuping VM image in host and this backup does not fail..

This appears to be a classical case of a switch or other improperly set network
connection timing out after 10 minutes of inactivity (internet standards are 2
hours). Most likely you set one of the something like 6 different Heartbeat
Interval directives that must be set. Note, setting the Heartbeat Interval
less than 300 is not recommended.
Note, your version of Bacula is *very* old and no longer supported. The
current version has all the appropriate HeartBeat Interval directives set by
default (if I remember correctly).
Best regards,
Kern
