i must say that i'm very grateful for the creators of BackupPC... it
is an awesome piece of software....
all is going well with my installation but i'm struggling with the
"email notifications"...
i'm using the gui to configure backupPC, the backups are going well
but i do not receive any emails form backupPC.
in the documentation, it says:
To verify that it can run sendmail and deliver email correctly you
should ask it to send a test email to you:
su __BACKUPPCUSER__
__INSTALLDIR__/bin/BackupPC_sendEmail -u [EMAIL PROTECTED]
i did that and i did receive an email form backuppc, but i still do
not get any notifications...
any suggestions?
