Maintainer @Arvedui explained that this package is still useful, e.g.
for personal, local scripts created for customization, if some of them
still rely on the Python2 module.

I'm sorry but the package was already deleted before your answer came.
@Arvedui if you need this package you can reinstate it again by simply
cloning the package and push an update.
