renaming is not possible, so you can try to convince the maintainer to
upload his package under the longer name. If he does so, he should also
write to this list so that we can delete the gcu package. The Disadvantage
Packages were re-uploaded. Could you, please, delete the original ones

http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=30083)?
would be that he will loose his votes.
There is no way to transfer them?

(http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=30083).
Votes have been at 9 for the stable and one for the unstable version. I do not
know a way to transfer them.
