AH. I bet that's how I got openssl on the machine then. From your perl
distro.
I don't need to be able to create certificates on the ASSP box, just have
SSL functionality for the admin console. SO - let me ask my hopefully last
question on this:
Does ASSP really need the openssl binaries to RUN or is it just to get
through the install script?
I ask because I want to keep everything necessary up to date, especially
security stuff, but don't want to bother with compiling my own and matching
the openssl binary version to what net::ssleay uses (if that's even
necessary) - and updating openssl on this machine with each of their
updates and worrying about net:ssleay being behind / incompatible.
Hope I'm being clear.
