Clever code is code that makes you ask 'Why didn't I think of that?". Always 
include enough comments to make the purpose clear to the next guy; the next guy 
might be you.

Debugging code is harder than writing code.

So if you are "as clever as you can be" when writing the code,
you will not be clever enough to debug it!
