The SHARE:Application_Properties form is where the versions and other information about each installed product resides on an ITSM system. During an upgrade, the installer looks at the entries in this file to determine the current installed version of whatever it's upgrading. Unfortunately, sometimes, the installer scripts have errors in them that erroneously report that you already have the version the installer is trying to install. The workaround for that is to tweak the entry/entries in the form (after backing up the originals, of course) to say that you have a version that satisfies the installer.
That being explained, I'm not sure that it solves this problem. What if you copied the AR Server's armonitor.cfg file to the mid-tier server?
