Well....I got a RAC almost 6 years ago after BMC purchased the toolset...so it 
was still called that back then...but I also noticed something similar to Terry 
and was watching this thread to see the outcome :)

That’s a very interesting question considering that RAC should have changed for 
a very short time in the dark ages to PAC and then to BAC..

If possible, I would like to verify whether the term "Remedy Approved 
Consultant" is still a valid certification status for BMC/Remedy.  I cannot see 
any reference to this terminology on BMC's education web site (unless I am 
missing it).   It only seems to mention "Certified Professional" and "Certified 
Expert".   A few years ago (when I was a RAC) it was restricted to only BMC 
Partners and involved a course/fee whenever new technology was released.  Is 
there still something like this today and is it only restricted to partners?  
Have the new programs superseded it?
