What kind of failure did you experience? To rollback you would require to restore your database pre-upgrade (hopefully you have that) and reinstall the previous version to replace any binaries that may have been replaced by the newer ones..
When faced with the option Overwrite, Upgrade ... choose Upgrade.. Share should work too..
