We are currently using ITSM Change Management 7.6 with Task Templates and
Task Group templates. The users currently select the Task Group template
that they wish to use which then, as per design, automatically associates
the required task Groups and Tasks.
Our users have now come back to us and wanted to know if, after a task
group template has been associated to a change, they are able to add Ad-hoc
tasks to the task group which must then follow the same flow as the other
tasks in that task group.
So, if i had to try and draw this out, we have the following
TG1 -- > TG2 --> TSK1
--> TSK2
--> TSK3
They now want to be able to add TSK4 and TSK 5 to the same group. Therefore
when TSK3 is closed, TSK4 will automatically kick off. While we can easily
create the tasks in the group, we seem to have a problem with the Flow and
Association of the tasks into the group so the new tasks are sitting in a
"Staged" status and now being kicked off automatically.
