Hello All,

In my opinion if there is no functionality that ties applications from
Informix database, there are no constrains.

For example I switch back and forward between Oracle and MS SQL 2 times.

The only issue is database performance and how it easy to manage it. In
my case ARS + MS SQL 2000 Enterprise was better than ARS + ORCL 10gi
Enterprise.

Daniel

Subject: Conversion from Informix to SQLServer or Oracle?

**
Has anyone done a conversion from Informix to SQLServer? Since BMC will
no longer support Informix after 7.6.3 I need to take the leap away from
Informix.

Any advice appreciated.
