If you want to import the people record for just once, Data Management Tool would be a better option. But, if the people records to needs to be populated on some kind of scheduled basis, you should be doing it using remedy workflow. That would involve bringing the data from Oracle database to some staging form using AIE and then validating the data. Once the data is validated, you can push it to CTM:People form.

I have an external oracle database. Which is a distillation of our active directory database. I'd like to connect to this database and create people and user records from it. What is the best way to go about this. My thoughts go to AIE to the CTM:LoadPeople form or possibly use the data mgmt tool. Thank you in advance for the help. _attend WWRUG10 www.wwrug.com ARSlist: "Where the Answers Are"_ _______________________________________________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE or access ARSlist Archives at www.arslist.org attend wwrug10 www.wwrug.com ARSlist: "Where the Answers Are"
