Does anyone have any numbers on what various shops run? As in, what percentage of the customer base runs Windows/Linux/AIX/HPUX/Solaris? Any differences on level of support from BMC between the platforms?
I know the easy answer is, use whichever platform your organization most readily supports. Problem is, this organization readily supports all of the above. I'm trying to make a case to move from Windows to Linux (DB is already on Linux), but mgmt wants justification for Linux vs. the rest.
