It works now. I had my active links that set the tmpBanner URL and the one that set the URL running at the same EO.
I adjusted this, and now the view field loads fine. The form on the mid-tier has a white background, so it's a non-issue that there is a white space, as noone uses the client tool. I set a tmp field to the url of a banner.bmp that is out on my webserver. Then, I use a set fields to set the view field = $tmpbanner URL$ In the user tool, if I change from a submit window to a search window and then back to a submit and a search again, then the banner will finally display. It will not display at first like it should. Also, when the banner finally does display, there is a whitespace between the bmp file that it is loading and the top and the left of the view field, even though the view field was smaller than the image it was loading. Does anyone know how to fix the whitespace issue? I have already turned off borders for my view field.
