Norm, Well.... I am not so sure I followed all of that....
I would start with changing the $OPERATION$ != QUERY qual to $OPERATION$ = "SET" OR $OPERATION$ = "CREATE" and see if that changes anything. If you see the same results... Put the $OPERATION$ = "SET"... at a lower execution order to see if that fixes this. (Then report the bug if it does. :) ) I would also suggest that the $OPERATION$ = "QUERY" active link could opt to do a Window Open (to a modify window) and then close the current form instead of the "PERFORM-ACTION-APPLY" process too. (Maybe that would simplify things for the active links and workaround the possible bug?)
