Thanks Rick.. That's what I saw online too where someone looking for the
same recommended Rent-A-Wreck. I called a couple of their locations in my
neighboring towns and they didn't have any.

I wasn't considering renting a stick for business but more for getting
re-accustomed to drive a stick again.

I made a mistake in the hyperlink earlier. Please click here to E-mail me
offline if anyone else has any other suggestions..

Cheers

Joe

The other option is to find some "Rent-a-Wreck" place that will have some
older, cheap cars to rent - some might be sticks. The downside is that they
will often be well away from the airport. I like driving a stick myself,
but it's just not worth the hassle to get one in a rental.

    Joe,

My experience is that most if not all normal car rentals are in the form
of automatics as there are few people who know how to properly drive a
stick. What I would suggest is to go to a dealer, preferably one of the
bigger ones, who rent cars too and see if they have any. But beware, you
will probably only find high end cars, similar to that grey one you have,
and its gonna be expensive.

I know this isn't the forum to discuss this so I apologize for any
inconvenience caused by this post.

I was trying to google for any auto rental companies around in the USA
more specifically around New Jersey, that may rent out a standard / stick
shift transmission car - without much luck. If anyone on the list from
around the East Coast who may have rented such a car, could you please let
me know where?
