Hi, Robert:
 
Please report it to to Customer support.  They need to be aware that
their search mechanism for cases, product defects, and the community
download search is either broken or has less functionality than it did a
few months ago.
 
I have already submitted a few issues to Customer Support regarding the
support site.
 
And I agree with you, the Product Defects has always left a lot to be
desired.  Some of the summary text that describes the defect is simply
cutoff and rendered useless.  There is no indication of what got fixed
and in what version or patch.  
 
On a good note it has been reported by a member of Tech Support that
they are bringing back the ability to search for cases by ticket number.

Hello list, 

just wondering if anyone else is missing the ability to search for
specific Bug ID's at the Product Defects section. 

Or am I missing something ? 

I think in general the Product Defects search could use some overhaul.
Like better filters ... like it is atm, you very often run into over 300
entries and table is limited to a 300 chunk. Oh well :-).

Anyway... with the ability to search for a specifig Bug ID being gone,
this page is very less usefull.
