Hello again, Frankly, I find the topic of discussion brought up in the last 3-4 emails to be counterproductive and off-topic from what I intended to discuss in this thread. That being said, I’d like to thank Robin Candau for steering the conversation in the right direction and clarifying some of the wrong assumptions/misconceptions.
In my personal opinion, to move forward, we need to discuss the pros and cons of such a service and the best possible way to host it; to wit, I’d love to hear the reconsiderations of Anthraxx, Jelle, and Foxboron on this, based on my previous email. :) I brought this up to Arch Linux because I think having such a service would be pretty cool.
