Hello,

I'm Alfonso Tienda. I'm developing an application to extract clinical
information from clinical text, based in NLP. My lingua franca of processing is
English, and the rest of the languages work by translation.

My interest is to improve the dictionary (first improving es-en dictionary)
with health-related terms (and maybe abbreviatures).

I began cloning the repo: svn checkout
svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/apertium/svn/trunk/apertium-en-es

The 'trasnlation' is in the apertium-en-es.en-es.dix file, and I understand I
need monolinguals in apertium-en-es.es.dix and apertium-en-es.en.metadix

That's right?
How can I contribute to the official project?
May I create some kind of "supplementary" files like
apertium-en-es.en-es-suplementary.dix (to make my changes without altering base
dicts) ?

Thanks a lot!

Alfonso
