Hi Mikel ,

I'm a software engineer and I'm very interested in machine translation. Last
year, when I take part in the MOOC UPC "Approaches to Machine Translation:
Rule-based, Statistical and Hybrid" I get in contact with the Apertium machine
translation platform.

I'm German, so I looked at the German dictionaries but I thought they are too
small for a translation system and want to support these. From an old software
project I have a big English-German vocabulary database, so I started to
convert entries into the Apertium dix format and now I can add the first part
of it.

I don't want to confuse your system, so I decided to use the old module
apertium-en-de where the last dictionary update is from 2010. If you think my
work is OK then I can add it to other modules.

Kind Regards,
Wolfgang
