How to become a top developer: - make an app that solves noone real (boring) problem but create something useless that people love, if possible in the social networking departement. Something original, even if useless. - use every trendy UI pattern in existence with pretty graphics everywhere. No problem if usuability suffers - get featured on The Verge (not a single chance if you are not a US startup) - brag about it in G+ and get 1 millions followers.
