It's totally a rant, but a rant whose goal is to make Google better by realizing that leaving us (and the consumers) in the dark is not the best decision (lots of wasted time).
And I am aware of the 4.0.4 update, I found out when doing my weekly research about the Galaxy Nexus multi touch situation.
