Hi, Are you sure the mp3s need to be of the quality and duration they are. For the purposes of a mobile handset application, for which the audio playback technology is not fixed they could be re-encoded with a lower bit-rate (or shortened) without too much loss in audible quality. this could reduce the file size significantly.
