Ok, I'm confused. Let's say I have users of my photography app (when I get it all finished and looking the way I want it to) who want to buy one of my photos as a 16x20 poster-size print. I just read the In-app site's terms earlier today, and, at least, according to the site I read, they take 30% of the sale price. So that means that to sell via the Market, and still get something out of it for myself (after the print shop prices, shipping, etc.), I'd have to charge around $105 for what, any other way, I'd charge $75 for. Or did I just mis-read something, and that was actually 3%, comparable to what PayPal charges (now that I think about it, I'm 99% certain I DID mis- read that...30%, asking users to pay THAT much extra to cover that 30%, etc., seems insane). Yeah, my vision is not likely to just magically get better, unless my brain rebuilds the links that the scalpel cut in my occipital lobe..... :-( I'm only posting this now just in case, by that 0.00000001% chance, I really did read that right. If that's the case, I'll just point users to a site where I'll be selling them anyways, and not touch the phone for sales at all. It would certainly keep the app simpler.....hmmmm, might do that either way. :-) -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
