I've tried to post both in the Google Groups in Android Developers and Android Beginners as well as Stack Overflow before on how to create a specific UI element and gotten no response from either, and I've had no luck on my own, so I'm starting to get very frustrated. I'm wondering if there is anyone who'd be willing to help me out a bit on this app design, but as its kinda a hobby/learning project and it's going to be released freeware I can't really pay for the help. I *do* think it'd be a fairly decently downloaded app if I can get it working.
