The last message in the eclipse console is "Launching a new emulator
with Virtual
Device"...
Looking online, I should be seeing other messages in the console as
Eclipse becomes aware that the emulator has booted.

I launch my app from Eclipse. That triggers the emulator to start up.
The emulator loads, boots fully etc. However the app ("Hello,
Android") never runs.
