Comparing to the packages installed here on my Kubuntu system, I also have gstreamer0.10-alsa gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3 gstreamer0.10-pulseaudio Especially the ffmpeg and/or fluendo-mp3 packages are needed, but I don't know if those are also split up in Arch.
