Hi All,
We're trying to follow backup best practice (ie the 3-2-1 Rule: 3
backups on 2 different media, 1 off-site). My question is: What's the
best way to achieve this:
1. Run three identical backups to each of the three destinations
2. Run a single backup and use something like scp or rsync to copy the
resulting backup files to the other two destinations
3. Or can Amanda backup to multiple destinations at once, and if so,
how is this accomplished
From the README.md in the 3.5.4 tar.gz release. RAIT is claimed to be
supported. Get the src from github these days or use your distro's
version which could be older. Currant community is 3.5.4 but the
armbian repo only has 3.5.1. And autoconf won't run. Can't find a
gettext workalike.
Thanks in advance for the advice
Cheers
Dusting off ancient gray cells: doesn't amanda have (or used to have)
a "rait" capability? Perhaps the two redundant arrays could be defined
to be on two different network hosts solving several of the 3-2-1 rules
during the actual backup.
