Trying to propose a tutorial (Scala and/or F# and/or tell-me-what-sounds-interesting), but the captcha on the eventbrite site keeps no-showing and refusing to take my email. So I resort to this public forum to respond-would a Scala and/or F# tutorial be of interest?

Anyways we've decided to make it entirely non-denominational, something I know will appeal to all here. There are already Github and Erlang tutorials planned for Friday. @briandorsey may also be doing a "code an HTTP server from scratch" session as well and there may be one more. Saturday is the open-space and Sunday they *may* be an all-day Hackathon, we are working out the details for that still. Oh and there will be an "out on the town" downtown Vancouver sort of pub-crawly thing Saturday night with free drinks and such. Which should be a lot of fun.
