Hello,
I'm trying to get sound capture to work. The only alsa drivers & libs that
will install on my system are rc1 & rc2. I have Mandrake 9.0 installed
(gcc-3.2) with an ens1371 card. The modules load into memory.
arecord -f dat -d 20 -D hw:0,0 test.wav
gives me:
Recording WAVE 'test.wav' : Signed 16 bit Little Endian, Rate 48000 Hz, Stereo
arecord: set_params:737: Broken configuration for this PCM: no configurations
available
Also other applications give errors when trying to record sound.
The modules.conf file looks like this:
alias char-major-116 snd
alias snd-card-0 snd-ens1371
alias char-major-14 soundcore
alias sound-slot-0 snd-card-0
alias sound-service-0-0 snd-mixer-oss
alias sound-service-0-1 snd-seq-oss
alias sound-service-0-3 snd-pcm-oss
alias sound-service-0-8 snd-seq-oss
alias sound-service-0-12 snd-pcm-oss
