hello -
i just got alsa working on a compaq armada m700 with a ESS Technology
ES1978 Maestro 2E. everything works fine when i boot standalone, but
when i try to boot the laptop up in the docking station/convenience
base, it hangs during boot, immediately after the:
es1968: not attempting power management.
line. not really sure where to look for solutions to this. has anyone
else had the same or a similar situation?
kernel 2.4.20
alsa 0.9.0rc7
