I never use the Pre-Record feature as it has a serious flaw. Yes it buffers okay for the beginning but at the end - when you finish a recording - you have to be extremely careful otherwise you’ll chop 3 seconds from the end of your recording so the obvious solution to this is make your recording 3 seconds longer than it needs to be, nothing to be concerned about I guess but something to be aware of all the same.
