John, your message reads like a Tom Clancy novel. As some know, many novels
have the truth embedded in them.

This level of intrigue is totally above where my mind's at, but from your
message I get the sense that whatever was decided is a done deal.

I'll agree, there are numerous bad actors in this world exploiting AI.
Only, they never see themselves as bad or good. They just do what most
people do. They grab opportunity to profit. There's no in principle wrong
with that, is there? All is relative.

For example, many gangs offer drug activities as employment, even love and
family safety. You see where I'm going with this?

If "we" deploy AI for our needs, we have to do so to "profit" somehow. That
is how all technology is deployed, for gain.

I accept many entities gained from developing and deploying mass vaccines,
crawlers, screenscrapers, eavesdroppers, secret recordings, etc. However,
in the real world, this is how things are done, no good or bad attached to
it.

If I had my own LLM platform or agent, I'll know what I'll deploy it for.
So do those who own, control and manipulate AI platforms.

But, I don't, so I just do research to gain a broader understanding and
maybe post a few thoughtful messages or papers. I don't get rewarded or
paid for my contributions, but I profit by self actualization.

You've just got to practice to become the best version of yourself. I don't
feel obliged to be anyone's savior. The world doesn't expect that of me
either.

However, if you wanted to achieve an exceptional technical result and I
could've helped somehow, I probably would've.
