Chances are that card is in infiniband mode and need a quick swap to ethernet mode with their utilities. For cheap simple windows I would say grab an x710 intel based card, pretty cheap now a days.

I have a Qlogic BCM57810 now, but I think that it's causing my PC to randomly crash. I picked up a Mellanox ConnectX-4 LX, and windows recognized it, and both windows and the Fiber switch show the interface up at 10G, but it refuses to get a DHCP Lease. I even tried booting into Linux with the same result. I don't have to use fiber SFP, but I have a lot of Fiber SFP's laying around. Are there other workstation 10G cards I can try with windows drivers? -- AF mailing list [email protected] http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com
